WATER WATER EVERYWHERE – WITH MANY DROPS TO DRINK!
As part of my monkey musings, I was studying facts about water on the amazing Creation.com website. https://creation.com/the-wonders-of-water
- Chimpanzees and Humans are around 60% water.
- The Earth is 70% water, and pretty much the only place in the known universe where it occurs in large amounts.
- A molecule of water consists of atoms – two of hydrogen, one of oxygen. These atoms, when combined alone, form explosive gases. And yet as water they put out most fires.
- Water also expands as it freezes. (I remember the water pipes freezing and bursting in the London Zoo.) If freezing water shrank and sank, fish would not survive.
If Water is such a wonder, how wonderful is its CREATOR!

P.S. Perhaps if we ask Water’s CREATOR, HE could send Australia’s drought-stricken areas rain.

Water…so taken for granted in daily life! You whetted my interest to check out a bit more about water (Wikipedia), and found that water is composed of 2 of the three most abundant elements in the Universe…namely hydrogen (most abundant), and oxygen (3rd most abundant). Helium is the 2nd most abundant. So, in a sense, we “watery” humans are truly “Children of the Universe”!!
