You made National Banana Lovers Day the best one yet!

Thank you to everyone who donated toward our goal of raising funds for a month’s supply of bananas – that’s over 22,000 bananas! We met and exceeded our goal thank you for your incredible support. Your support toward the banana fund not only gives our residents important nutrition, it also brings joy and excitement to their day. Chimpanzees have a unique vocalization called a food grunt in response to food that they are excited about. When the cart of bananas is rolled in at mealtime, a wave of enthusiastic food grunts can he heard throughout the sanctuary!
