  1. I had the privilege of reading the words of this hymn to my father on the day he died. It was a favourite of his, along with “Love divine, all loves excelling”.
    The words of this hymn are absolutely inspirational and speak deeply to our human need.
    My Dad and I loved the traditional tune though!!
