TYPING CHIMPS?
I know you are all wondering what Keeper Barry taught us yesterday. Well, we saw some truly mind changing films (oh, OK, DVD’s) about the detailed construction of the earth and its living occupants. I had no concept of how finely tuned our universe, and planet are. From the nuclear forces bonding the very atoms of our being, and, indeed the whole time space continuum, as well as the gravitational forces that bond the planets inhabiting outer space, the margin for error is minuscule. We are talking fractions of a percentage. This monkey comprehends that this could not have happened by chance. Even Keeper Algy was impressed. Given a slight miscalculation of any of these incomprehensible (to any created being) forces, the whole enchilada would fly apart – or implode.
We also saw a wonderful illustration of my supposed relations typing away at typewriters. The point was made that even millions of monkeys typing since the Universe began, could not produce the play, Hamlet, crafted by William Shakespeare. This tied in with illustrating the wonders of DNA, the most amazing example of information storage in the Universe; (even Microsoft founder Bill Gates agrees about this). Nobody, except a monkey like me, and other dedicated Bible enthusiasts, have a clue where the information came from. Quite obviously there must be a Supreme Designer. The God of the Bible fits this position perfectly. Why are people so blind? Maybe they lack a Keeper Barry…..
I managed to find one example of my relations being tested for intelligence. I include that below, to show that I have not lost my sense of humour. But notice even the “scientist” is deceived into thinking that he shares a common ancestor with me – ah, the folly of you humans, and the BBC, that publishes such things as fact.
Until next time….

Dear Chugley. Thanks a heap for this one, now I really do feel, well almost dumb. Almost. Do you think I could get some Chimp brain hormones or something, and while I think of it…..oh I have forgotten what I was going to ask. And I still can’t believe that we are whizzing around at some 13 k miles an hour on this planet of ours. Humans could never build something as complex as our system, maybe Chimps could ??? There has to be an ‘intelligence’ beyond our understanding behind all that we know. And I am so blessed to have a relationship with that person.
This is rather well expressed for a Mandrill! This is very much the conclusion to which my monkey mind has come. Thank you for your confirmation of this. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
“…as imagination bodies forth the forms of things unknown.
The poet’s pen turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing.
A local habitation and a name.”
– W. Shakespeare (A Midsummer Nights Dream Act 5 Scene 1)
Maybe God was the poet of DNA? Or was the old Bard himself really a chimp? Mrs Chugley might have a response to that.
Dear Greg, Mrs Chugley has come down from her tree at last. The has told me, that far from Shakespeare feeling he was related to us, he wrote many derogatory things about some of his characters behaving like dumb monkey primates, apes and so on. I hope this helps your deliberations? Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
