RAT INFESTATION GONE BALLISTIC…?

The generally humorous English magazine, The Oldie has informed its readers [www.theoldie.com.uk], that they are descended from rats as well as chimpanzees. Seriously! Next they will say they have bats in their belfries!

The discoverers  have named this rat, Durlstotherium newmani, the allegedly 145 million year old creature,  (discovered this week) after a Dorset publican –  probably because you will need a stiff scotch or two to believe this myth. If you don’t believe me just go to:

What does this do to my already scrambled and only half-evolved monkey mind? It is most insulting to Chimps! We are not related to rats!

You really cannot have it every which way. It is not logical. The Oldie magazine will probably get away with it, because their readers are mostly too ancient and polite to question things in print. We chimpanzees are not so polite and genteel. We are renowned for our aggressiveness. We are relentless in the pursuit of Truth.
