The Watchmen’s Report follows after this preamble. How few Pastors publish such a valuable commentary linking Scriptural Prophecy with current events and politics, it is a great credit to Pastor Wayne, involving hours of work.

PASTOR WAYNE WRITES:
May 1, 2026
As we continue our sermon series through the Apostle’s Creed, we have come to that phrase, “I Believe in the Holy Ghost!”
According to a recent survey of conservative theologians and pastors, the study of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit is the most neglected study in the Church today. While the Holy Spirit is mentioned over 90 times in the Old Testament and over 260 times in the New Testament, His person and work are often overlooked or underemphasized in today’s pulpits and even in today’s seminaries.

THE WATCHMEN’S REPORT
News Stories that Connect with Biblical Prophecy
By Wayne J. Edwards, April 29, 2026
My Fellow Watchmen,
According to my eschatology, Jesus’ words in Matthew 24 describe the prophetic events of the seven-year Tribulation, culminating in His return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In Matthew 24:4-8, Jesus describes events in the first half of the Tribulation. Then, in Matthew 24:13, He says, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
Therefore, while Jesus was addressing those who missed the rapture but received Him as their Savior during the first half of the Tribulation, we can apply his call to endure to our lives today. Enduring means remaining faithful to Jesus Christ, holding fast to the gospel handed down from the Apostles, and being willing to suffer hardships to show our trust in God’s will. Our endurance does not save us—salvation is by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Endurance shows that God’s supernatural grace is at work in our lives.
Beloved, I know many of you are distraught today as you see so many things happening that you cannot understand. It is hard to watch the things we worked so hard to accomplish, not only for our own lives but for the generations behind us, being deliberately and intentionally torn down.
However, the Lord Jesus has given us clear directives: we are to patiently endure and remain faithful in anticipation of the imminent rapture of the Church. Our mission is to never “give up” until we are “taken up” when the Lord calls us to “Come Forth!” Until then, we are to continue to “look up,” for any day now, our redemption will be complete!
