Say a little prayer for me and my sweetheart. We are driving to Florida tomorrow for back surgery for me on Monday and maybe Tuesday, although I’m praying that one surgery will do it. But please ask the Lord to get us safely there and back. We thought about flying but the layover in Atlanta was too much.
:”The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalm 121:7-8
We trust the Lord, but it’s a long drive and we’re not as young as we used to be, so please pray us there and back and pray for the surgeon and his team. They’re wonderful people. His nurse practitioner called me a couple days ago and we talked for an hour. I know her from being there before. She’s absolutely great and Dr. Shermer is my anesthesiologist again and I love him!
Lord, You know my worries and my cares, and I place everything in Your Hands. Please watch over us through this trip. Thank You Heavenly Father. We love and worship You.

He is faithful, Kel. He will take good care of both of you. He has promised and He never breaks His promises. I am comforted by your confidence in your doctors also. May He give them wisdom and success and only one surgery. May He give you His peace.
