WEALTH WARNING
The zoo was most concerned to hear that James Packer is not well. He has resigned from his main business interests owing to stress. It puzzles this monkey to observe that many extremely wealthy humans suffer from extreme unhappiness, I can’t help feeling that old book of yours, you call it the Bible, has some extremely wise comments about wealth and happiness. For instance in 1 Timothy 6:17 Paul exhorts you: “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.”
All at the zoo wish James Packer a speedy recovery. I hope he might find an interest in zoos, I might get a huge make over for my compound and a new computer. Just look at those happy Pandas in their fancy compound in Beijing Zoo, see heading picture. Many people find happiness in a zoo, why not James?

Dear Chugley,
Some of us humans already think that we live in a zoo! Be careful what you ask for……….
That’s an excellent verse, Chugley! Timothy was very observant when he said that wealth can lead to “high mindedness”. From my observation, wealth (or lack of it) in itself cannot produce any virtue of character, but great wealth can definitely create pride and self-righteousness, just as poverty can produce resentment, anger or anxiety.
It is so good to have learned readers, Paul, thank you! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
