TRUTH TAMPERING
It makes it very hard for a truth seeking monkey to read that the Bible is being severely restricted in China. This monkey finds it hard to comprehend that you humans seek to legislate to limit the truth being told, unfair on the Chinese, it would seem to me. This activity is not restricted to China. Here in my adopted country, Australia, one of your leading newspapers recently ridiculed the teaching of Scripture in your schools, in their Easter day edition. This usually fairly reliable newspaper, described Holy Scripture as “hocus pocus”, a provocative statement made on the very day many of you commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ . This outrageous statement seems to have gone unchallenged by my Primate “colleagues of the cloth”.
My research indicates to me that the Bible is the most authenticated book in your world and the absolute truth. Jesus Christ is who He says He is. I am of the developing opinion that you all ignore it at your peril. What is more it does not bode well for us Chimps either, because you keep insisting we are related. I seem to be a “one off” hybrid, I can’t help it, I am still pondering the meaning of it all. But I don’t appreciate having my thinking legislated for.

Ah! What is truth?
In China it is party ideology past culture. In Australia it is journalists who seem to be excelling themselves in lack of knowledge and understanding. Perhaps they are prevaricating on whether they are going to be male or female this week. Maybe somewhere in the middle. Ooops! or are I getting them mixed up with the education system?
But what ever it is Dear Chugley, “Know the truth and the truth will set you free”
Truly you are a man after my own way of thinking, Sydneysider, thanks you for your valued comment. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Jesus said the world would hate us as it hated Him. Even evolving chimps who have developed a spiritual sensitivity aren’t exempt! This hate includes God’s Book. I find it amazing that the moral guidance, truth and wisdom for good and orderly living that is found in the Bible is hated…but that is the case in a sin-sick culture that no longer wants a moral compass or be dictated to about standards. As you wisely said Chugley…ignore this Book at your peril.
Amen Paul! Well said. You enlighten my studies, thanks. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
