PASTOR WAYNE WRITES:

According to the Scriptures, the “sin of neglect” is often referred to as the “sin of omission” or the “sin of apathy.” Rather than the commission of a wrong act, the “sin of neglect” is the failure to do what is right, i.e., exactly what the Lord commanded. The writer of Hebrews describes it as “passively drifting away from the truth,” through laziness, carelessness, or just plain old indifference, and he asks: “How shall we escape (the wrath of God) if we ignore (neglect) so great a salvation?”
Certainly, we are aware of the consequences of neglecting our physical bodies, our marriage, our family, and even our physical belongings. A lengthy neglect can cause problems that may be beyond repair. Such is the case regarding our response to the gospel. Through the “sin of neglect,” the sinner can “miss the call of God,” and find themselves shipwrecked – abandoned by God.
The most dangerous thing we can do is to hear the Word of the Lord and not take it in as the very bread of life that we need, and then let that bread nourish every facet of our lives, for without the bread of life, we will die. I wonder how many millions of people are in hell today who were once grounded in the truth of God’s Word, but they let it drift away?

THE WARCHMEN’S REPORT
My Fellow Watchmen,
The U.S. government is preparing to release significant, long-secret files on UFOs (now known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAPs) and alleged non-human intelligence, which may, according to some government sources, challenge the Genesis account of creation, and cause many to turn away from the Christian faith. While some evangelical leaders have jumped to the conclusion that such reptilian entities are, in fact, the fallen angels described in the Book of Enoch, others, including Vice President JD Vance, say these unidentified anomalous phenomena are “demons” rather than extraterrestrial visitors.
How interesting! In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, the Apostle Paul said, “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day (the Day of the Lord; the Tribulation) will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin (the Antichrist) is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” That “falling away” is called Apostasy; to abandon the truth of God’s Holy Word and to embrace the lies of the evil one.
Gird up your loins, believers! This is just another attempt to cast doubts about the Word of God and to lead people away from the God of the Word. I agree with the Vice President, and with those conservative pastors who view this “release” as the demonic deception the Apostle Paul said would precede the arrival of the Antichrist. According to the Book of Revelation, during the fifth and sixth Trumpets, a “star” opens the bottomless pit, releasing demonic creatures (described like locusts) to torture humanity for five months, and four fallen angels (demonic beings) are released to lead an army that kills one-third of mankind.
Unexplained phenomena do not threaten the fundamental truths of the Christian faith. The real concern is when self-professed believers look for answers apart from God, turning to government sources rather than Scripture. Christians must remain vigilant, relying on the enduring truth of the Bible, testing every spirit, and not letting government narratives replace faith or biblical wisdom.
