‘THE GLORY OF THE SUN’
I am enjoying our Australian Winter with its cooler temperatures and sunshine. As I basked in the warmth this morning, contemplating the beauty of the Sydney Harbour from the Chimpanzee Compound at the zoo, I wondered:
- What is the sun?
- How does it function?
- Is Life on Earth dependent on it?
- How does it differ from other stars?
So I consulted the Creation.com website and found an article by Jonathan Sarfati. ‘The Sun: Our Special Star’ which begins with a study of:
- The Sun’s Origin
- The Sun’s Unique Position for the support of Life on Earth
- The Sun’s Energy
If you would like to learn a little more of the ‘the glory of the sun’ (1 Corinthinians 15:41), click the link below:

I discovered that:
- The sun is the ideal size to support life on earth.
- The sun’s position in our spiral Milky Way Galaxy is ideal.
- The sun is an exceptionally stable star.
