My Fellow Watchmen,
I do not think I’m exaggerating when I say we are sitting on the edge of eternity. While I suspect there may be some “Chamberlains’ working in the background to prevent President Trump from obtaining even a temporary peace with Iran, as we all ought to know by now, and as President Trump has discovered, the Iranian political and military leaders do not want to be reasonable – they want to win, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goal, even if their people are harmed in the process.
That said, the decisions our global leaders make THIS MONTH will have enormous implications for all of us, which is why I wanted to send you this special edition of the Watchmen News Report.
Two things I urge you to watch carefully:
- On August 12th, we will be able to see a parade of 6 planets in the sky, a total solar eclipse, and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower all on the same day. This has never happened before, and, according to Google, it will never happen again. “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” Luke 21:11
- If Israel conducts a surprise attack on Iran or if Iran conducts a surprise attack on Israel, it could spark an uncontrollable spiral of escalation. A single move could set the entire Middle East on fire, and the world is simply not prepared for what is about to happen next.

NEWS STORIES THAT CONNECT WITH BIBLICAL PROPHECY

The Iranians truly believe that they have won. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has created a global energy crisis,
and President Trump doesn’t have any easy options for reopening it. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress are
pleading with Trump to bring the war to an end because the midterm elections are coming up. The Iranians understand
how much leverage they currently have with Trump, and so they are making all sorts of maximalist demands. But the
same is not true with Israel. The Israelis are not concerned about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz because they
don’t really use it. In addition, the approaching election in Israel means that it is very important for Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to look tough on Iran. As a result, Trump and Netanyahu find themselves moving in
two very different directions right now.
While the Trump administration develops an exit strategy, Israel is reportedly getting ready to go it alone against Iran if
necessary…Israel is preparing for the possibility of launching unilateral strikes on Iran if the US-Iran war ends, Israel’s
Channel 13 reported on Saturday. The Israeli military continued to keep the option of striking Iran without US
involvement on the table, it said. The report followed a CNN report that US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dan
Caine had told senior Trump administration officials that further military escalation could backfire and that victory
through airstrikes alone was unlikely.
Just think about what that would mean. Israel would be attacking Iran with no U.S. help, and the Iranians hate Israel
with a passion that runs so deep that it is truly difficult for most westerners to understand it. The Iranians have already
threatened to fire ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv and other major Israeli cities if something happens. The potential for
escalation would be off the charts. One of Iran’s chief negotiators, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, apparently believes that
Israel could launch a surprise attack at any time…
Israeli leaders are fully convinced that once Iran is capable of producing nuclear weapons it will be just a matter of
time before they are used against Israel. So, they feel like they are in the midst of an existential struggle for the future
of their people. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Sunday to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons, a goal
he has long alleged Tehran is pursuing, regardless of the course of diplomacy with Washington and Arab states.
“I want to emphasize once again: with an agreement or without an agreement,
as long as I am prime minister, Iran will not have nuclear weapons,”
Netanyahu said at a cabinet meeting.
Just think through the implications of what he is saying. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out where this is heading.
I am convinced that Iran’s nuclear program is far more advanced than most of the experts think, and I am also convinced
that Israel is quite serious about taking action.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal is telling us that President Trump has been “laying the groundwork to declare
victory” if he can just get the Iranians to reopen the Strait of Hormuz… For weeks, President Trump had been laying the
groundwork to declare victory in the Iran war should Tehran fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz, even floating the idea
privately to senior aides that he’s willing to walk away without a nuclear deal, U.S. officials said. Unfortunately for
Trump, there is just one huge problem. The Iranians are not going to open the Strait of Hormuz unless they get everything
that they want. The Iranians have told us this over and over again, and I have explained this in my articles over and over
again. Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has released a list of the
demands that the Trump administration must meet in order for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened…
- End threats and insults: The U.S. must never threaten Iran “in any language” or insult what the Iranian people
consider sacred. - Permanently end military action: Washington must end warfare and aggression against Iran and its allies in
Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq. - Lift the naval blockade and withdraw forces: The U.S. must end its naval blockade and remove its naval and
air forces from the area surrounding Iran. - Pay compensation for two wars: Washington must fully compensate Iran for the damage caused by what
Zolghadr characterized as two imposed wars of aggression. - Remove sanctions: The U.S. must lift what Zolghadr called “unjust and illegal” sanctions imposed on the Iranian
people. - Release frozen Iranian assets: Washington must unconditionally release assets belonging to the Iranian people
that have been frozen or seized.
The Trump administration can never possibly agree to all of this. But even if the Trump administration did agree to all
of this, traffic through the Strait of Hormuz would not return to the status quo that we witnessed before the war.
Instead, the Strait of Hormuz would “reopen” under Iran’s new management system. Vessels from certain nations would
still be banned, and the Iranians would extract very high fees from other nations. The Iranians are literally holding the
global economy hostage, and they are openly admitting that they are using the Strait as a weapon of war…
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards on Sunday said they would not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until the United States
accepts all of Tehran’s demands.
“Our current strategy is to maintain this strait until the enemy accepts all our conditions,”
said Guards spokesman Hossein Mohebi, as quoted by state TV, adding that “the strait is
now actually a theatre of war for us and not just a waterway”.
And even though the U.S. has paused military action, the Iranians just keep attacking
more tankers.
Trump may want a way out, but the war is still very much on. And if Israel decides to start conducting airstrikes in Iranian
territory, this conflict could rapidly go to an entirely new level. In the event of a surprise attack, the Iranians would be
severely tempted to respond by using unconventional weapons. If the Iranians use a single unconventional weapon against
Israel, it is likely that the Israelis would respond by hitting Iran with dozens of nukes.
According to a very old estimate, Israel has more than enough nuclear warheads for such a scenario… Most estimates
posit that Israel possesses about 90 plutonium-based nuclear warheads and has produced enough plutonium for 100-200
weapons. These estimates have been fairly consistent for decades, which points to a nuclear posture defined by Israel’s
deterrence needs. Israel appears focused strictly on survival and does not seek to threaten other nuclear-armed states.
We have reached such a dangerous moment in human history.
The Iranians do not want to be reasonable. They want to win.
Decisions that global leaders will make this month will
have enormous implication for all of us.
If Israel conducts a surprise attack on Iran or if Iran conducts
a surprise attack on Israel, it could spark an uncontrollable
spiral of escalation.
A single move could cause the entire Middle East to erupt in
flames, and the world is simply not prepared for what is about
to happen next.

This week, we will witness a convergence of celestial events that is truly extraordinary.
On August 12th, we will be able to see a parade of 6 planets in the sky, a total solar eclipse and the peak of the
Perseid meteor shower all on the same day. I was curious, and so I asked Google if this had ever happened before
and I was told that these three events “have never all occurred on the same day in recorded modern astronomical
history”. I was also told that the probability of all three events taking place on the same day is “roughly 1 in several
hundred million”. Could it be possible that God is using the heavens to try to get our attention? If so, could it be
possible that incredibly significant events are about to happen? I wrote about this extremely unusual convergence of
celestial events last month, but now that the day is approaching I just had to write about it again. In Luke chapter 21,
Jesus specifically instructed us to watch for “signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” in the days just prior
to His return. August 12th will probably be the most spectacular day for heavenly events since the Great American
Eclipse of April 8th, 2024. Needless to say, all sorts of historic events have occurred since that total solar eclipse. Now
another total solar eclipse is coming, along with a parade of 6 planets and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower…
The sky is about to put on an incredible show through August, as celestial events occur throughout the month. But one
day in particular will offer the ultimate stargazing experience.
On Wednesday, Aug. 12, there will be a planetary alignment early in the morning, a solar eclipse in the afternoon, a
new moon at night and the Perseid meteor shower will reach its peak. We have never seen this happen before, and we
will never see it again. The planetary parade will include all of the planets in our solar system except for Venus… A
six-planet parade begins in the pre-dawn hours on Tuesday, and continues for several nights afterward, according to
The Planetary Society. This planet parade will include Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune. For those
wanting to see this six-planet spectacle, you’ll likely only be able to see four planets without any aid: Jupiter,
Mercury, Mars and Saturn. To catch Uranus, binoculars will be necessary and to witness Neptune, you’ll need a
telescope.
Of course that parade of planets is not the main event. The main event on August 12th will be the total solar eclipse…
Millions of people across Europe and North America will witness a solar eclipse on Wednesday, Aug. 12, but the
event will vary greatly depending on the location. A narrow corridor stretching from Greenland to northeastern Spain
will experience a total solar eclipse, much of Europe will enjoy a deep partial eclipse, and parts of North America will
see a smaller partial eclipse. A partial solar eclipse will be visible in 26 U.S. states. If you live in an area of the
country that will get a partial solar eclipse, it will “look like a cookie with a small bite taken out of it”… The Aug. 12
total solar eclipse will only be visible from Greenland, Iceland, Spain, Russia and parts of Portugal. Residents in some
U.S. states will be able to see a partial eclipse using specialized eclipse glasses. In the U.S., the sun will look like a
cookie with a small bite taken out of it, according to NASA. Following the total solar eclipse, everyone will be able to
enjoy the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. NASA says that it will be the “best meteor shower of the year”… The
“best meteor shower of the year,” according to NASA, is about to begin. The Perseids meteor shower, which can
produce up to 50 to 100 shooting stars an hour, will be active from July 17 to Aug. 24, according to the American
Meteor Society (AMS). This year, the shower will peak around the same time as a total solar eclipse on Aug. 12,
according to USA TODAY’s previous reporting.
This is our only chance to enjoy all three of these things on a single day,
because such a convergence will never happen again in any of our lifetimes.
I asked Google about this, and I was told that the mathematical odds of all three events
occurring on the exact same day “are roughly 1 in several hundred million.”
The mathematical odds of a total solar eclipse, a six-planet parade, and the peak of the
Perseid meteor shower falling on the exact same calendar day are roughly 1 in several
hundred million, making it an exceptionally rare, “once-in-a-generation” cosmic
coincidence.
Of course, this strange confluence of events in the heavens will be occurring at the same time when war, famine,
pestilence and natural disasters are breaking out all over the planet. Over the weekend, the historic wildfires in western
North America got even worse. In fact, over 20,000 people in western Canada were just evacuated from their homes…
A large wildfire is growing rapidly in western Canada, threatening towns in British Columbia. More than 20,000 people
have been ordered to evacuate their homes. The entire town of Summerland, with a population of 12,000, is covered by
the evacuation order. In addition, another 8,000 residents in nearby Peachland have been ordered to evacuate.
The fire has destroyed houses as it spreads, but it is unclear how many. I have previously written about how this is a
record year for wildfires in Oregon, and it turns out that Utah is setting records too…
A fire in central Utah has burned more than 114,000 acres as of Saturday afternoon, becoming the state’s largest wildfire
this year. Speaking at a fire briefing earlier this week, Utah Governor Spencer Cox noted that the blaze is the third to
reach roughly 100,000 acres this year, “which is not a record that we’re proud of, but we’re grateful for all of the work
that’s happening here.” Meanwhile, it appears that the Middle East could be about to erupt in flames for a different reason.
The Iranians continue to block the Strait of Hormuz, and they keep telling us that they will never end their nuclear
program.
There are signs that the U.S. may not be willing to continue military action, and so Israel is very strongly
considering going it alone… Israel is preparing for the possibility of carrying out unilateral military strikes against Iran if
the United States reaches an agreement with Tehran and moves to end the ongoing war, Israeli media reported Saturday.
According to Israel’s Channel 13, the Israeli military is continuing to prepare for potential independent operations against
Iran, keeping the option open even if Washington decides to step back from direct military action.
If Israel conducts airstrikes in Iran, the Iranians will respond with fury. Ballistic missiles will come raining down on
Israeli cities, and that would cause the Israelis to strike back really hard. In such a scenario, the risk of going all the way
up the escalation ladder would be extremely high. And it just so happens that at this exact moment in history we are
witnessing an amazing convergence of heavenly events that has never happened before and will never happen again.
OPENING THE DOOR TO AN IDEOLOGY
THAT REVEALS IN CHAOS, VIOLENCE,
AND RESHAPING THE FABRIC OF SOCIETY

Disastrous open border policies have wreaked havoc across Europe and Western Nations. The globalist rhetoric
that caused nations to open their doors in the name of “inclusion” and “acceptance” has had disastrous
consequences—predominantly, and unsurprisingly, the undermining of national sovereignty. Nations have allowed
themselves to be flooded with countless Muslim immigrants, not to build a better life, but to spread an ideology that revels
in chaos, violence, and reshaping the fabric of societies.
Islamic politicians, public figures, and protesters regularly express their disdain for the Judeo-Christian
foundation of Western society. Far from being patriotic toward the nations they have been accepted into, Muslim
ideology insists that wherever they set foot belongs to them, and demands an overhaul to be brought under the
subjection of Islamic law—by any means necessary. It was these very beliefs—centered around conquering—that
resulted in muslim populations being expelled from countries throughout history.
Many nations not only willfully ignore this reality, they also take “acceptance” a step further, adopting broad
“Islamophobia” laws that have made Islam untouchable from public criticism.
An Oxford Union debate addressing the question:
“Is the West right to be suspicious of Islam?”
Are we supposed to be grateful to Muslims for allowing people to live now? Is that why we should not be
suspicious of Islam?” In the United States, the popularity of Islamic politicians in the Democrat Party, like
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is growing at an alarming rate, expanding the already dangerous level of
anti-American, anti-Christian, and antisemitic rhetoric in the nation.
Rejecting mass Muslim immigration is not “hateful” or “racist”—and it does not run contrary to our
desire as Christians for these individuals to be reached with the truth of the Gospel. Rejecting mass
Muslim immigration is grounded in Biblical wisdom. God established borders with a purpose. In the case of
ancient Israel, God instructed them to be welcoming to strangers, with an important caveat: that the individuals
they allow to live in their nation assimilate. That is a critical distinction. Why? Because accepting individuals
with ideologies contrary—or actively opposed—to the moral foundation of a nation will inevitably
reshape the culture.
WHEN SOCIALISM COMES THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have stopped decorating the
wrecking ball. Their new “Workers Deserve More” program calls for
abolishing the Senate, replacing the President and Supreme Court with
officials subordinate to Congress, ending the Electoral College, creating public
ownership of corporations, and building a new political system.
DSA leaders describe capitalism as exploitation that must be replaced, while affiliated voices speak of taking down the
American “empire” from within. The threat works through elections rather than armed revolt. These candidates win
Democratic primaries, using the party’s ballot line, donors, volunteers, and infrastructure to advance a movement aimed at
destroying America.
The Democratic establishment is revealing itself by tolerating, promoting, and normalizing these socialist candidates.
They have captured congressional nominations and mayoral offices, while the DSA says endorsed candidates will be
expected to accept, promote, and align with its program. The Democratic Party has allowed its machinery to become the
vehicle for activists who regard America’s constitutional structure as an obstacle.
Today’s radical plank becomes tomorrow’s caucus demand, then next year’s Party talking point. When Party leaders
embrace candidates who seek to abolish the Senate, subordinate the judiciary, seize corporate ownership, and dismantle
constitutional checks, they are advancing socialism through democracy’s front door while carrying blue campaign signs.
This assault reaches deeper than the Constitution because America’s tradition of representative self-government began
before 1787.
In 1620, the Mayflower Compact declared that its signers would “covenant and combine
ourselves together into a civil Body Politick” and establish “just and equal Laws” for the
“general Good,” promising “due Submission and Obedience.” The Compact joined liberty
with covenant, law, order, faith, mutual responsibility, and consent. It created government
to preserve a community under the rule of law with citizen consent.
Democratic socialism divides citizens into classes and concentrates ultimate authority in government. Socialism offers
government-directed equality enforced through political control, an old promise that leaves citizens equally dependent.
The danger is wrapped in the comforting word “democratic.” Yet voting for the demolition of constitutional government
still produces demolition. A majority can surrender its freedom as surely as a tyrant can seize it.
America’s system protects people through divided powers, representative institutions, private property, free enterprise,
religious liberty, and laws that restrain rulers and citizens. Democratic socialism seeks to abolish these safeguards. The
Democratic Party, once the party of slavery, seems to be returning to its tyrannical roots by its tolerance of socialist
candidates.
Proverbs 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.”
A republic survives when citizens recognize truth, honor covenant, and defend freedom. There is no moral equivalence
between socialism and a Constitutional Republic- Don’t let the world make a monkey out of you!
