MILLIONAIRE CASTAWAY -BORN AGAIN!
I sometimes feel the world has become devoid of real eccentrics. People in the mold of , well so many really. Thus it was so encouraging to see the 75 year old David Glasheen, who declares himself “born again” after surviving the loss of his thirty seven million dollar mining empire in the crash of 1987. He attributes his mental restoration to finding “Restoration Island”. He is a true “Robinson Crusoe”.

Born again by the Spirit of God? Or born again as in turning over a new leaf? One will reconcile you to God for eternity, the other will give you a change of pace for a while, but death and separation from the life of God remain.

Although I found his story fascinating, I wondered what would happen if some serious health issue overcame him. He admitted he lives in a seriously remote place…beautiful as it is. Perhaps he’s fatalistic about his future. When real trouble comes, que sera, sera.
Yes, I think Greg made a very succinct comment, he would be better off if he were to be “Born Again” in the Spiritual sense. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
