JUMPING GENES AND THE ABC Part Two
Bats in the Belfry…
Creation Ministries have responded regarding my post questioning the accuracy of the ABC’s comments about Jumping Genes and “transposons”. (See this Blog for 20th Feb Jumping Genes or Jeans?) I know many of my readers have been waiting with bated breath for this information. I supply the links to the relevant articles which are long and detailed. Thank you everybody for your patience, I am glad to say CMI are very busy indeed, there are lots of questioning souls about. Good to know that people are still thinking for themselves, don’t believe the ABC. Thanks again to CMI!
This article shows the fallacy of the “spin” in the story https://creation.com/large-scale-function-for-endogenous-retroviruses
This is relevant too: https://creation.com/dazzling-dna
The transposons (‘jumping genes’) are particularly active during embryo development: https://creation.com/junk-dna-asteroid-impacts-and-supernovas (first part).
What a fortunate lot you are following a helpful Chimpanzee like me.

Fish are ‘baited” dear Chugley, breath is ‘bated’ – just a little spelling lesson from an advanced primate?
Thank you so much Jonathon, that is what comes of a not so thorough DNA download – talk about Jumping Genes! Gibber! Gibber!
Looks like the jumping jeans still belong in the rodeo!
Amen to that, to coin a fully human phrase. Very confusing for a studiously evolving monkey, with Australian citizenship, to find he cannot trust the country’s National Broadcaster. I am on the alert for TRUTH! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Our magnificent Designer is being revealed at every turn in science…from molecular biology to the study of galaxies there is order, complexity, function, interaction and beauty…and life…at least on this mortal coil!
A profound observation, Paul, many thanks. It puzzles me how “intelligent” humans compute that this is all by chance. Evolution makes no sense to this Chimp. Gibber! Gibber!
