PASTOR WAYNE WRITES:
June 27, 2025
Dear Heritage Family and Friends,
“Is America in Biblical prophecy?” I asked myself that question when I first began to study biblical prophecy. I grew up believing God had blessed this nation like no other, and at that time, America had done more to spread the gospel to the world’s oppressed people than any nation on earth, including hospitals, schools, colleges, and all kinds of humanitarian aid. Therefore, how could God allow any harm, much less destruction, to come to the one nation that had taken responsibility for the spiritual welfare of every other nation on earth?
However, as I continued studying biblical prophecy, it became very clear that as a sovereign nation, America was not found among the nations at the end of this age. For a long time, I didn’t tell anyone – I didn’t preach it because I didn’t want it to be true – it’s only been within the last ten years that I’ve been able to say what I now know to be true – while people will exist in this land during the Great Tribulation, as a nation, America will be nothing more than a godless nation.
According to Zechariah 12:3, 14:2, and Ezekiel 28:16, not only will America not come to Israel’s rescue in the Gog-Magog battle, but, in some fashion, the United States of America will be among “all the nations of the earth that will gather against Jerusalem, in the final war of the ages. I plan to address this topic in our following sermon at Heritage Baptist Church.

THE WATCHMEN’S REPORT
June 27, 2025
My Fellow Watchmen,
First, let me say that unless something major happens, this will be our last Watchmen’s Report until July 7. Linda and I plan to “breathe” a little next week and get reacquainted with each other and maybe even visit a few friends and members of our family. Pray for us!
However, last night, as I relaxed in my recliner, I received an email from Michael Synder about the plans President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu have for Israel in the coming months, including an “agreement” between the Jews and the Arabs called the Abraham Accords. Of course, my mind went to the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39. Michael confirmed it in his article, and so did Bill Koenig this morning.
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army.” (Ezekiel 38:14-15)
Beloved, while I consider it a great privilege to live in these last days, I’m very concerned about the millions of people who consider themselves to be Christians who would see the Rapture of the Church as an intrusion on their lives. At a time when the headlines confirm the final events of biblical prophecy, word for word – when the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are saddled up and ready to ride, and yet, “nary a word” of warning is coming from the pulpits of the majority of churches? How can that be?
Pastors tell me, “Wayne, my people hear enough bad news during the week. They don’t want to hear more bad news when they get to church!” BAD NEWS? Beloved, our ONLY BLESSED HOPE is the Rapture of the Church and the Return of Jesus Christ, and, according to the Scriptures, very little is predicted to happen between now and our Lord’s return that might fit their definition of “good news.”
Jesus reprimanded the Pharisees and Sadducees for not discerning the times. “When it is evening, you say, it will be fair weather, for the sky is red; and in the morning, it will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening. Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.” (Matthew 16:2-3 NKJV) In Luke 21:25, Jesus said, just before He returns, “There shall be signs in the sun and in the moon, and the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.”
Troublesome times are ahead! The Church Age is coming to an end! I have never felt such a sense of urgency as I do today to be His “watchman” on the wall, but as Noah did for 120 years, all I can do is “warn,” it is up to those who hear to heed, or not!
Please forward these news stories and articles to those you think might be interested. Thank you for doing that!!
