DON’T BELIEVE THE MSM
REPORTING FROM THE ZOO
A Harley bikie is riding by my zoo in Taronga Park, Sydney, Australia when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion’s cage.
Suddenly, the lion grabs the little girl by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The bikie jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage, and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain, the lion jumps back, letting go of the girl, and the bikie brings her to her terrified parents who thank him endlessly.
A reporter from the MSM (Main Stream Media) has watched the whole event. The reporter, addressing the Harley rider, says “Sir, that was the most gallant and brave thing I have seen a man do in my whole life.” The Harley rider replies: “Why, it was nothing, really; the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little child in danger and acted as I felt…….right?”
The reporter says: “Well, I’ll make sure this won’t go unnoticed. I’m an MSM journalist and tomorrow’s newspaper will have this on the front page…So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?” The Bikie replies: “I’m an SAS soldier just returned from Afghanistan and a Liberal Party supporter”. The Journalist leaves. The following morning the bikie buys the paper to see news of his actions and reads, on the front page:
“SAS Soldier assaults African immigrant and steals his lunch.”
This pretty well sums up the media’s normal reporting.
(Thanks to my friend Basil for this one, I heartily agree with the sentiments expressed, and urge my readers to maintain their sense of humour in these times of testing).

Unfortunately, that is about the standard of reporting theses days. It is also supported by a visual for the TV and social media news. How is that!
How far we have fallen, well you be concerned, Sydneysider. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
