CONVOLUTED MONKEY MUSINGS
Spare a thought for the troubled state of mind of your not so humble correspondent! So much conflicting information is being hurled my way from various (anti) “Social Media” outlets. Only the other day I had someone call me “stupid” for believing in Creation by an all omniscient Creator. He believes everything made itself over billions of years. Logically that means he thinks he is a cosmic accident evolved from a kind of Cosmic Soup – “What flavour, Sir?” As with so many of his ilk, my tormentor had no sense of humour at all. Never mind, I think it was Earl Nightingale who said, “Pity him, for that is what he deserves.” Earl went on to say, “Don’t go down to his level, if you do, that is where you belong.” I cannot find that advice in the Bible, but the Bible does say:
‘ But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;’ (1Cor 1:27)
So it is that I am encouraged to pursue my studies. What a challenging road it is for those of we Chimps apparently evolving!

…and in God’s economy, to consider ourselves weak and lacking in our going about doing “good” is just the attitude God wants in us. A couple of encouraging verses to go along with your verses are 2 Corinthians 12: 9,10…” ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ …. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Chin up Chugley, no need to be too concerned, when you know you are right. I once got into debate with a neighbour, who said; “all that bible stuff is nonsense. There is no God”. We had had these discussions before, so I said; ” Bill (not his real name), if you are right and there is no God, we neither of us have anything to worry about, BUT if you are wrong, and there is God, boy, you are in a heap of trouble”. Bill moved interstate and I have had no contact since. I just pray that he did discover God. So keep up the studies !
