I could not have written a more unlikely, and hard to believe, script if I had tried for months. The daughter of the former Russian double agent, Sergei Skripal, was released from hospital yesterday, after an alleged poison attack by Russian sleuths some 5 weeks ago. No proof has been obtained. I thought Russia was an expert in such executions dating back to the times of Rasputin, successfully assassinated in 1915, and people of his ilk. I can hardly believe such an alleged execution by the experienced Russians failed in this instance. You are certainly living in an age when men call evil good and good evil, as said the old Biblical Prophet, Isaiah, who lived some 700 years before Jesus Christ, (not much seems to have changed, does it?).

What happened to the civilised laws of Magna Carta? They seem to be only selectively applied. I must wonder about the “progress” of humanity.

I’m so glad that believers have the moral compass of the Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and make clear what is “true” and “right” in this confused and drifting western culture of ours that has made “shifting sand” its moral foundation. I feel sorry for those ordinary decent citizens who these days don’t know whether they’re Arthur or Martha….literally!!
