In these seemingly tumultuous times this song seemed to me to be an appropriate post for my Blog today. You humans are a resilient lot, but need to remember the commandment to love one another. Joe South wrote and performed this back in 1970 when I was a much younger Chimp.

That song is a wonderful “blast from the past”!
What a timely warning to guard against our tendency to criticise others and not be aware of our own hypocrisy and shortcomings.
Jesus said it best…”Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? “(Matthew 7:3)
One of the chief reasonings of Group Dynamics is to get a perspective from the other person’s point of view, which seems to be along these very same lines.
