There have been no active volcanoes in Australia since European settlement. However the Aborigines report witnessing several. The above picture of Mt Fox in Queensland shows a currently extinct volcano in our country. I find myself wondering whether some like these may erupt back to activity? That would get people’s attention.

Your world is in an uproar over “climate change” but largely ignores the plethora of old, seemingly “extinct” volcanoes that have suddenly burst into life this year. Our heading map shows details.

Nobody seems to be telling Greta Thunberg about this. Doubtless she would find some humans responsible, and come out with some fatuous comment. With smoke and ash hurtling up more than 24,000 feet into the atmosphere, I cannot help thinking of a couple of verses in your Bible:

Psalm 104:32
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

Psalm 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

You humans would do well to grasp that you do not run this planet, nor do you alter the climate. With one touch from God a mountain can explode into a cloud of ash, carbon dioxide and many other gases, dwarfing your puny attempts to dismantle a few coal fired power stations to reduce “carbon” emissions.

Forrest Gump had it right “Stupid is as Stupid does”.
