THORNY QUESTION??? No 2
THE THORNY QUESTION –
What is Russia up to in regard to Israel? My Chimpanzee musings lead me study the Bible for answers I can trust. I find in Psalm 83:
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
It seems that reading this, and other related passages, such as Ezekiel 38 and Isaiah 17, reminds me of today’s newspaper stories. Indeed it would seem that several nations have, what the Bible terms, as “hooks in their jaws” drawing them into the turmoil that is the present day Middle East, with God’s Nation, Israel at the centre of the vortex, and under extreme threat. Russia is aligned with Iran, formerly known as Persia, which constantly expresses its desire to wipe Israel off the map. America is aligned with Israel and Saudi Arabia, with many other countries acting in concert at the periphery. Surely a recipe for an upcoming Armageddon, pitting super-powers and not so super-powers, against each other in a probable nuclear armed conflict?
At times like these, I am grateful for my comfortable compound and my solid zoo.

Ben Gurion showed great insight with his quote above! Israel’s existence has long been precarious, and under threat from surrounding enemies. There is so much international, disproportionate anti-semitic hate/ rejection towards that tiny nation, one can reasonably conclude that that amount of hate is supernaturally-generated from the Prince of this world towards God’s Chosen People….and the “natural”(spiritual) enemies of Israel are itching to attack and destroy.
