I have always been an admirer of the Baroness. I was on a tour of the house when I was fortunate to be in the gallery while she debated the housing siituation in loca l London councils – 1977.
I am not too sure to which post of mine you are responding Betty? But I do agree that Margaret Thatches was a rock beneath the British Tories. She was known as “the toughest man in the Parliament”. She is currently lionised by Rowan Dean on his Sky, Sunday, Outsiders programme, which proudly displays a small china image of the Iron Lady along with other luminaries. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
