I have long loved the imagery in this evocative painting – the person inside must open the door, as there is no outside handle for Jesus to simply come in without invitation…the darkness of spiritual and moral “lostness”, and the weeds growing around the door of a life that has neglected and ignored the patient knocking of a loving, seeking Saviour. Revelation 3: 20 – Behold, I stand at the door and knock….

    1. Thank you Paul. That is very much how it struck me. The more I study the Bible the more real wisdom I find, the more I hope for a full “human” DNA Download. Gibber! Gibber! PS: Seems our feedback system is working OK after all?

  2. Oh! how hard it is for many people to open the door. Many times it is pride. But the opening of the door to the knock is so releasing from the gaol of the prisoner.
    Open the door. Light up your life on earth and open the door to eternity.

As a half “evolved” Chimp I am always disturbed at the slowness of the human race to embrace the TRUTH of Jesus Christ. and His promise of Eternity with Him. Frankly I cannot wait to receive my full download of human DNA and join humanity with all it’s faults. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
