I was surprised to discover that Steve McQueen, (March 1930 – November 1980), became a Bible believing Christian towards the end of his life. Greg Laurie has produced a book and DVD tracing the story of Steve’s journey to faith, via his astonishing movie career. It is available from Koorong Books.

His life is a remarkable story of how God can redeem all sorts of people and draw them to Himself.
This monkey cannot recommend this book and DVD highly enough. It is a truly inspiring story of what it can mean to be human. It is almost enough to persuade me to leave my compound!

Very interesting. Steve made some great jumps, but the greatest was when he jumped from being an unbeliever to realising that there is a God who loved him. A huge jump, from hell to heaven. WOW.
