SPACECRAFT EARTH
A stunning book has arrived in the zoo and I have found a quiet tree, up which to climb and enjoy reading it. It is titled Spacecraft Earth. The author is rocket scientist Dr Henry Richter, assisted by David F. Coppedge, (see picture above). Dr Richter was a part of the Explorer 1 Satellite team in 1958 and has been involved with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA for many years since 1955. The two men bring a unique and scholarly viewpoint in assessing the likelihood of our planet being a random chance occurrence.
It is a gripping story, guaranteed to rattle the cage of the most stubborn Sceptic, even from its first examination of the study of Water: ‘When water freezes into ice, it expands….Because of this expansion, ice is less dense than water, and it floats! This property is vital for life on “Spacecraft Earth” If ice did not float water would freeze and sink to the bottom of lakes, rivers, and the ocean, accumulating into increasingly thick layers of ice….Over the course of time, almost all of the water on earth would freeze”.’ (p.p.15 &16).
Chugley gives it full marks for content and also enjoyable readability.
It is inexpensive also! https://austore.creation.com/spacecraft-earth

As “new” knowledge is discovered about our amazing world and Universe, such knowledge (I think) is always rational in the way it enhances “order” and “interaction” in nature. For me, these things point to a “thinking” Creator/ Designer.
That is why I am called the “Thinking Chimp”, although I am often baffled myself by my own deliberations! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Politics and common sense. Like oil and water.
Politics is numbers, numbers, numbers; then plotting, plotting, plotting then back to numbers, numbers, numbers. All in the purpose of stating in power or regaining power. Now to find the light switch!
I think maybe the light switch is a re-instated Tony Abbott, I recommend reading his speech last night, Google “Bob Carter Commemorative lecture, Tony Abbott 3rd July 2018” that should bring it up. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
