Britain Gets Talking!
Hi Chugley, Shirley, from Chester Zoo in England here.
Did you know everyone is being encouraged to talk about the state of our ‘mental health’ in England? Far from evolving into a much happier and wiser species, it is distressing to learn that the future is not looking good for young and old alike. It was stated that anxiety and depression in children alone has risen by 48% since 2004. That is very sad for the next generation.
Therefore, over the weekend one of our television channels decided to interrupt their ‘programming’ with a minute’s silence to help us re-connect with each other and talk about this.
One of our mental health charities thinks it may be our own particular British reserve which makes us bottle things up. I personally don’t think so. For a long time now every time I have tried to speak up on certain matters which really concern me, I get shouted at, called names and excluded. Thankfully, I can speak to friends through the internet and the phone.

I can’t help but wonder if there are certain things which are contributing to the nation’s depression. There has been a total disregard towards 17.5 million people who voted to leave the EU. Also at the moment the younger generation are blaming us adults for not looking after the climate. There have been big demonstrations by ‘Extinction Rebellion’. They claim “the older generation will die of old age, the younger generation will die of climate change”. I thought of my father who died young from asbestos poisoning and the young men who have died in Afghanistan.

Who do you say I am?
Another TV company, the BBC, have also been trying to help children who are confused about their gender and relieve them from their anxiety. They have made a film speaking openly to teachers and informing them that there are 100 genders or more that 9 – 12 year olds can choose from. It is strange to me because suddenly scientific and biological facts don’t matter. Our evolution has become based on feelings.

Parents who have attempted to remove their children from this teaching are being labelled bigots. However, they are terribly distressed and concerned about their child’s wellbeing as well.
Some children have been given hormone blockers to interfere with their natural development. The number of children requesting this has risen, and they are not always aware of the terrible side effects.
Whilst celebrating diversity, there are so many people who are not allowed to speak on this matter. Political correctness has ensured these people will really suffer in silence.
The state is ploughing ahead with its plans to teach controversial sex education as a mandatory topic regardless of Protocol 1, Article 2 of the European Convention of Human rights, which is in English law under the Human Rights Act 1998.
“In the exercise of any functions which it assumes in relation to education and to teaching, the State shall respect the right of parents to ensure such education and teaching is in conformity with their own religious and philosophical convictions.”
The Shedding of Blood
All in all we are not doing very well over here. Do you also know there has been the shedding of blood from 8.6 million abortions in England and Wales over the last 50 years? Those silent voices together with the silenced voices of the parents who have suffered from mental health problems as a result of their choice is one particular horror which is kept as low key as possible.
The horror of how mankind is encouraged to destroy itself and how we are subjected to silence about that injustice through social manipulation, is perhaps our greatest shame of all; but all is not lost. Urgent action is needed. Our hope is a reconnection from the place where we fell down. Restoration is possible.

What a sad litany of events that reveal a dysfunctional society.
What is beyond sad is that the primary reason for this dysfunction is spiritual in nature, yet that would be scoffed-at by our secular culture. Spiritual interest and belief shape the values and morality of individuals, and by extension, society. People in our western culture are unhappy and unsatisfied because their spiritual nature is atrophied through the false gods of secularism and materialism. These make for moral “darkness”. Like sheep, our western culture has gone astray. We need a Saviour!
That is how this monkey sees it too. The more I study the Bible the more I wonder whu toy humans seem to disregard it. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
As western society actively disassociates itself from God and the Bible, people are starting to suffer the angst of separation and loss of hope. When someone or their guardians decide to move way from God, God does not lasso them like a maverick calf and force them back. No we are allowed to exercise freewill and drift into the thorns and hazards of being separated from God. One of the “benefits” of being separated from God is the manifestation of mental health issues and the lack of discerning between the Truth and the lies spread by evil people. Very, very scary and horrifying for many people.
These poor souls have faith in people who are manipulating them for glory, power, money.
