Vladimir Putin moved with lightning speed this week to install the latest Russian electronic jamming devices into the Russian Syrian arsenal. This means that attacks by Israel and America against Syrian targets are made most difficult. I remember in the 1960’s when England’s Vulcan nuclear V bomber could shut down TV reception over the entire East of England, creating fury among English couch potatoes. My monkey mind boggles at what the Russian 2018 “Ras” Putin version will do in Syria. I hope the Zoo is well insulated against attack. It is comforting to know that Australia is getting two F35A Lightning Stealth Fighters by Christmas, with another 70 on order – at around $100 million each, to be operational by 2020. That may be a bit late!

  1. Those pesky Russians. I hope their jamming equipment works as well as their guided missile gear, which doesn’t seem to work too well. We should round up those lunatics (criminals ) who put needles in strawberries, and send them over to put needles in Russia’s new ‘jam’ equipment. Someone said to me the other day, when surveying the world, “where will it all end?” I said; “I can lend you a book that gives the answer, read the last chapter” It’s a real ‘revelation’.

  2. I should buy some shares in the military technology companies, as they certainly know how to innovate in the business of destruction….and there seems to be plenty of worldwide interest in purchasing this stuff.
