RIGHTEOUS ROWAN
Rowan Dean hosted a stirring edition of Outsiders yesterday, ably assisted by Rita Panahi and James Morrow. It is so pertinent we include a link to a Podcast above.
Rowan began by playing the old Beatles song “Revolution” to illustrate what is happening in your crazy world. Here is that blast from the past:
Rowan compared the situation with the French Revolution, that was said “to eat itself” – in other words it is self destructing. Your world seems to have gone out of control, I am particularly bemused by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, confirming he would “review” the statues in Westminster Abbey – really? However there were some encouraging points made.
“EDUCATED INTO IMBECILITY”
From England, Douglas Murray, author of The Madness of Crowds, ripped into the “woke” mentality. He says “It is largely caused by people who have been educated into imbecility”.
Rowan had tremendously insightful and supportive comments about Israel and the way in which even the Saudis are becoming quite supportive of their establishing settlements. The Arabs really don’t want the “palestinians” upsetting their apple-cart. His conversation with Laurence Fox, English singer songwriter, was also hugely supportive of Israel. highlighting the lunacy abroad in this area.
There was a most encouraging piece featuring a Negro American policeman challenging a rioter about to destroy a statue without knowing who had paid for it, nor knowing anything of the History of the person depicted.
I urge you to listen to the Podcast, at the link given at the top. It will boost your optimism – and deliver you from any chance of “going woke”. As James Morrow says “Go woke go broke”.

What an evocative term…”educated into imbecility”! I take that to mean that too much of our (western culture) secondary and tertiary education is ideologically-based…guiding graduates of that education towards being so ideology based that they’re of little practical use to their society….and are incapable of seeing realities of life outside their blinkered worldview.
I thought he nailed it Paul. You humans seem to be just as stupid as ever! That is this monkey’s view. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
