MACHIAVELLIAN QUINTESSENTIAL CAMERON: The Outsiders (3.12.2017)
All the predatory animals at the zoo were intrigued by The Outsiders‘ Ross Cameron’s Machiavellian analysis of NSW National’s Leader, John Barilaro’s condemnation of Prime Minister Turnbull.
Cameron noted:
- the date of Barilaro’s comment – the day before the by-election in New England and after the disaster in Queensland’s State Election for the LNP
- the political status of Barilaro – not a member of the Federal National Party in coalition with the Federal Liberal Party but the State Leader
- the impact of the statement on disaffected Conservatives – Barnaby Joyce is not Malcolm Turnbull. Voting for the Nationals is not endorsing the Left-Leaning Liberals.
As descendants of jungle warriors fighting for survival in the wild, we animals applaud the National’s wily, astute and successful strategy.
Gibber! Gibber!

P.S. We note that Barilaro was attacked personally by his parliamentary colleagues. (Always a sure sign that his strategy was correct!)
We also observed that the Queen of Political Campaigning herself, Peta Credlin, congratulated the Nationals on their campaign on Credlin last evening.

Ah, Machiavelli,
What a great tome on the politics if Italy, and indeed the world political arena, both large and small. To return back to a read of “The Prince” to bring us up to date on current day politics. Well recommended.
Dear Concerned Sydnesider,
Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog. It is much appreciated at the Chugley Office.
