POSTAGE PAID….IN FULL!
The former CEO of Australia Post, Ahmed Fahour, (pic top right) brings a new dimension to the term “Postage Paid”. Also a former Bank Executive, Mr Fahour has recently placed his Hawthorn home, Invergowrie (see pic of front door, top left) on the market for forty four million dollars.
Mr Fahour created a bit of a flurry with his $4.8 million dollar salary from Australia Post, plus a bonus of $1.2 million dollars in 2016, for ensuring the outfit fulfilled its promise of “We Deliver”. He resigned this position in July 2017 after the PM, among others, stated he thought this was a bit much. He is now non-executive chairman for Asia for BCG Digital.
Funny how you humans organise your business affairs! My monkey mind has difficulty taking it all in. “Nice work if you can get it!”
I just hope the CEO of my Zoo doesn’t get similar ideas – he/she may cut my banana quota.
Gibber! Gibber!

And some are very well organised.
Let us hope that the current reported property slump does not make a large effect on this property.
Do you think Mr Fahour needs the money? Gibber! Gibber! Guess the postage charges have gone up….Chugley
It’s sort of sad, that people have a house that’s value almost surpasses the GDP of many nations. When all is said and done, one only needs a place to keep the rain out and give some comfort and security. Look how modest is Chugley’s residence , and how happy and contented he seems to be. Well most of the time, seems our ‘polies’ get up his nose at times. Hang in there Chugley, there is a better day coming, when all the ills of this world will be fixed. Can’t wait.
I’m doing my best to grasp these Biblical promises Milton, do you think they apply to partially evolved Chimps? Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
