LUNAR – TICKED OFF!
I am really enjoying this book DISMANTLING THE BIG BANG, by Williams and Hartnett. I have found another gem of information on page 157, Professor Robert Jastrow, colleague of Professor Harold Urey (pictured in heading image), dubbed the “father of lunar science” – a pioneer in organising the Apollo missions to the moon, remarked that Urey stated: “It is easier to pretend the moon is not in the sky than to explain how it came to be there”.
