OUR UNITED NATIONS OUR NANNY?
I was stumped when I found out, from The Outsiders, that the UN wants to make decisions about Australian matters. Did you know that they do not want us to build Warragamba dam any higher? Nor does it want aircraft flying out of the new Badgery’s Creek Airport to fly over the Blue Mountains? This is because we voted the Blue Mountains a “World Heritage” site, to be protected by the UN. Wikipedia explains a World Heritage site:
“A World Heritage Site is a landmark or area which is selected by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization as having cultural, historical, scientific or other form of significance, and is legally protected by international treaties”.
This monkey wonders if we need such a controversial organisation making decisions on our behalf? An organisation that features, in its prayer room, an “Altar to an Unknown god”. I thought Paul addressed this kind of wrong thinking some thousands of years ago?
22 “Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.” (Acts 17:22-31)
Have you humans learned nothing? Apparently not.

I hadn’t heard of the UN “Prayer/ Meditation room” before, so after looking-it up, found that the “altar” in that trapezoidal room, plus the art, is thought to be occultic in style and meaning. Here is an interesting link about that room:-

Thanks Paul! That is so interesting I put it up as an extra post for today, Tuesday! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
