NO Victory in Compromise, Only Deception and Defeat

The definition of “compromise”, according to the Cambridge Dictionary is: “an agreement in an argument in which the people involved reduce their demands or change their opinion in order to agree”. Per the same dictionary, “victory” is defined as: “the success achieved in a competition, battle, or any challenging situation, signifying a decisive defeat of an opponent.

When a war ends, any peace achieved without the complete defeat of the enemy is NOT a victory, it is a compromise. While compromises may postpone, or prolong a war, they NEVER end them. In the war between Israel and Hamas, now claimed to “be over” by POTUS Trump, ushering in an “eternal peace” and a “new Middle East”, Trump’s hasty claim totally ignores the fact that Hamas has NOT disarmed, nor has it stopped attacking the IDF in spite of such disarmament being one of the foundational principles of the much-touted peace.

Even if all Hamas operatives did disarm, the fact that they will Never admit defeat and opt to live in that peace alongside Israel indicates that no negotiation or compromise will ever achieve the desired peace. I am not a betting man, but if I were, I would dare say that not one Hamas leader or fighter has changed their opinion of Israel and the Jewish people. They dwell in a “twilight zone” of eternal hatred for all things Jewish, having the opinion that Jews are worthy only of death, and their opinion is not likely to change regardless of any compromise. Compromises may have their place in commercial disputes, in political disputes or even in a playground fight between kids, but if you look closely enough at the specifics of any “war-ending” compromise, you will find the driving force behind it: MONEY. That glorified tangible asset represents, to most people, power and control for those who possess enough of it. It is most closely connected with deception since the desired result of most acts of deception is a gain of money, control and/or power.

To all those politicians, “national leaders”, “special envoys”, “chosen negotiators” and “diplomats” who have engaged in the faux peace plan that, realistically, will bring no lasting peace to Israel, but WILL allow for the survival of Hamas, and the destruction of the Jewish people: This evil plan that you are touting as the long awaited “peace in the Middle East”, is NOT a victory, neither for the Jewish people, not for all those who have pushed so hard to implement the plan. Rather, it is a compromise, one that only postpones the real solution to any war: TOTAL VICTORY!. In order for there to be a victor, there must also be a loser, a thoroughly defeated enemy, one that admits his defeat and realizes that his defeat will cost him dearly. This is the only solution for the current chaotic mess in the area around Israel and Jerusalem, where God “placed His name”.

Even though no one knows the exact location of the Garden of Eden, it is thought that the creation of man took place somewhere in the Middle East, likely in the area of the four rivers mentioned in Genesis chapter two: the Euphrates, the Tigris, the Pison and the Gihon. After man was expelled from the Garden, the beginning of all human culture was formed in that area. We are not told why God chose that particular area for man’s genesis, but it must have been an absolutely beautiful place, considered to be the “cradle of civilization”. Today, however, the “cradle” is gone, replaced by a “hotbed” of hatred, violence and terrorism, and there are almost no civilized areas, save for the tiny land of Israel.

God’s choice of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to be His “special people”, those who would take the wisdom and knowledge given to them and spread it to the entire world, exhibited the deliberate act of God’s love, culminating in the giving of a redeemer, Jesus the Messiah, God’s Own/Only Son, as the crowning touch. However, His choice was not received with gratitude and rejoicing by all the peoples living in the cradle-turned-hotbed. In fact, the most vile, longest-lasting hatred toward God grew out of that lack of gratitude and was turned toward the Jewish people. Some, if not most, of the nations and tribes that originated in the region, still today use that hatred to express their opposition to God.

As it was in the Garden of Eden, when Satan/Lucifer deceived the first humans, deception is still the most important weapon in the devil’s arsenal; it is not only STILL being used, but its use has increased exponentially, and it has become astoundingly successful, especially in the west. IMHO, those being most affected by that deception are the ones who have been given the authority to negotiate what is (for now) passing as a miraculous peace deal.

While I am pleased that some of the hostages are being allowed to return home to their loved ones, even in the hostage release period, deception on the part of Hamas is rampant. That deception is evident in the fact that the disarmament of Hamas, which was supposed to occur, has become a joke as no disarmament has happened, and in fact, attacks by Hamas on the IDF have continued but are lessened, likely due to the success of the IDF in eliminating thousands of Hamas terrorists.

Qatar, the nation which was given a huge role by Trump in negotiating this fragile (faux) peace, has played a part so much greater that they should have ever been given, and the fallout from their involvement has yet to fully manifest. Based on their support for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, Iran, and all the other terrorist states/organizations in the Middle East, as well as their long-time hatred for all things Jewish, one could, and certainly should, ask why they are so involved. The answer is not difficult: MONEY, CONTROL and POWER, all elements of politics. They are still using their money as they have done for decades, buying influence in the American government and academia, as well as many commercial enterprises, (https://israel365news.com/399755/bought-and-paid-for-how-qatar-turned-trumps-envoy-into-hamass-advocate/), Qatar uses their huge amounts of money instead of guns, bullets and rockets to achieve their goals in the Middle East and indeed in the West. Based on their “somewhat” covert hatred for Israel, Qatar’s involvement should have been considered poisonous to any peace deal between Israel and her multitudinous enemies. But Trump, for whom money and the DEAL are paramount objectives, has continued on a very dangerous path, seemingly lost in the deceptive fog of the glory to be had by solving the Middle East “problem”.

For decades, the United States, through a myriad of so-called “leaders”, has taken it upon itself to “solve the Middle East problem”. Sadly, the Nazi regime in Germany, under Adolf Hitler also decided to solve the “Jewish” problem, the presence of Jews on this planet. In the end, that evil destroyed the lives of more than six million Jews. Having followed the events involving a multitude of “solutions” to the Middle East problem, I have yet to see anything that embraces the truth as spoken by God. However, I have seen actions that ended up taking Jewish land and giving it to those whom God hates. It seems that no matter who leads our nation, the attitude toward Israel does not change; they are used as pawns in a game dominated by politics and money, and the Jews have played along with this game for way too long. I believe the attitude of most Israelis toward America is now beginning to change. There is a very poignant Talmudic parable that illustrates why this change may be occurring. Read here:

I also believe that we are close to the time when the leaders of Israel will decide the choices given to them by the US will become so untenable that they will have no option but to stop relying on the US, and place their TOTAL trust in JHWH, the God of Abraham. Rabbi Meir Kahane once said: “For so long as the Jew has even one ally, he will be convinced, in the smallness of mind, that his salvation came from that ally. It is only when he is alone, against all of his own efforts and frantic attempts, that he will, through no choice, be compelled to turn to G_d”.

As the United States and other western nations cozy up to Qatar, accepting the “gifts” meant to appease any misgivings they may have about the REAL Qatar, that wealthy Middle Eastern nation that espouses the death of Jews and the literal destruction of Israel, God carefully watches and records every decision that negatively affects His people Israel, every acceptance of the monetary gifts that sometimes go unmentioned in the MSM, every voice that openly speaks against God and HIS decisions, as well as the “silent voices” that speak even louder than those that rant their hatred of Israel in many United States cities and on college campuses. The silent voices, in my opinion, are those of the Christian pulpits in the World, and especially here in America, who should be speaking the truth about the situation in the Middle East. The entire World has been focused on the conflict between Israel and Hamas, started by a ravenous mob of murderers, hell-bent on killing as many Jews as possible. Now, with the return of some of the remaining hostages kidnapped by Hamas, the focus is on “the day after”, or what will happen to the region now that a ceasefire has been implemented.

Speaking of the involvement of money in the peace deals, POTUS Trump recently announced that Qatar, obviously one of his “buddy” nations in the Middle East, has decided to invest a large sum of their money in the United States, reported to be in the neighborhood of $1 Trillion; not exactly chump change. But what will the Qataris expect in return? More on that later.

The Qatari government also recently announced their plans to “gift” a huge Boeing 747 commercial jet, likely to be used as an additional Air Force One plane, valued at more than $400 million, to POTUS Trump, (NOT to the American people). The cost of refitting the massive plane to meet security standards is estimated at more than $1 billion, a sum that will be billed to, of course!, the American taxpayer. The future of the plane, after Trump leaves office, is “unofficially undecided” but would likely be gifted to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation (again NOT to the American people).

I realize that Donald Trump, while a gifted businessman (a man for whom gaining more wealth has always been the primary object, call it his “god”) knows little to nothing about the One True God, the Bible, or the history of Israel and the Jewish people. He touts his own “deal-making” expertise and knowledge when he speaks of the many Middle Eastern nations who are now planning to invest huge sums of their money in the United States. It seems that, in his mind, while constantly seeking the next big “deal”, his ability to schmooze nations, many of whom openly denounce the United States as “infidels” and who have caused great harm to our nation, is the only thing that matters. His dealmaking skills usually do indicate an ability to increase revenue, both personally and nationally, and that seems to be the basis for his claim of success in Making America Great Again. But TRUE greatness is more about MORALITY than MONEY. In fact, without a sound basis of morality in culture, government, academia, and especially in our churches, all the money in the world will not buy greatness.

We are witnessing a literal fulfillment of the truth of scripture spoken by Paul to Timothy and recorded in 1 Timothy 6:10,

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

We are truly seeing national leaders, some of whom claim to be “Christian” while eagerly reaching out their hands to receive the dirty money offered by Qatar that will diminish any support for Israel and the Jewish people. I say: SHAME ON THEM ALL! They are leading their nations down the path to judgment and the destruction reserved for the goat nations spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 25:31-46. Even though their words sometimes indicate their support for Israel and the Jewish people, their actions prove what their words try to mask: They are all guilty of violating God’s commands regarding the treatment of the Jewish people, recorded in Genesis 12:3, and God has said what will happen to all those who fail to heed that command. In Joel 3:2, we read:

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with (judge) them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land”.

God is not slack concerning His word; every word that goes out of His mouth WILL be done, without fail. I will end this article with a stern warning to all those, both individuals and nations, that ignore the Lord’s commands. You are on a path that leads to utter and eternal destruction. But there is still time to repent and change your destination. The Apostle John wrote:

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out”.
There you have the boundless grace, the mercy, the longsuffering and the compassion of God wrapped up into one verse; all you need do is believe it and get back on the path that leads to God. But a word of warning:

Do not wait, time is short!
