NEUTRON STARS COLLIDE
My slowly evolving monkey mind boggles as it tries to grasp this deep space event. Your scientists tell us that two neutron stars collided, about a couple of months ago, (our time). These stars were 130 million light years away. That means it would take us 130 million years, travelling at the speed of light, to get there!
It made me place Malcolm Turnbull’s promise of a $2 a week reduction in my zoo cage’s electricity bill into a different perspective. Is your Prime Minister seriously trying to mollify your anger at skyrocketing energy charges by such a paltry offer combined with a few movie tickets?
Commentators say that the Liberals are in “annihilation” territory, no wonder! (Lets hope they are in a neutron free zone.)
I think I’m better just Gibbering in my zoo!
