LIFE IS JUST A VAPOUR
The zoo is settling into life in viral lockdown. It has been a revelation observing the growth in online Churches.
Greg Laurie, who heads up Harvest Ministries in California, hosted 1.1 million people online for their Easter Service from all over the world. He said one of the big administrative lessons he has learned in 2020, is forward planners are useless right now.
Some of Algy’s friends joined online services in England, and all Churches, across the world reported a surge of interest.
This monkey thinks you should all take inspiration from this surge, as we eagerly await a re-opening of the zoo, and what is left of the economy. I thought, once again, that the Bible has wise words for you humans who like to think you have your life exclusively under your own control:
James 4:13-17 KJV
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
I am hoping the zoo will open again soon, I do miss your faces, I trust you won’t be vaporised…..

Life is yet a vapor, don’t I know it. With the Lord Jesus Christ in your life, there is much joy to be had in this vapor.
A very poetic observation, thanks Betty! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
