JOHN RUDDICK EQUATES GLOBAL WARMING DEBATE WITH THE CREATION EVOLUTION DEBATE
Rowan Dean’s Outsiders again rated its socks off as top rating show on Sky News last week. The Zoo again congratulates the team! Yesterday the show featured John Ruddick, Liberal Party historian, who has come up with the suggestion, among others, for a Climate Summit to take place at Old Parliament House, Canberra. He likened the debate to the old debate about Creation or Evolution.
This monkey is, of course, intensely interested in such matters. I find it most interesting that Ruddick, who has previously shown little interest in the Creation/Evolution issue, should compare the two in this way. It really begs the question, amongst many others – “Do you humans run the planet or does an Almighty Creator, God?” I cannot see evidence of you lot being able to change much at all, except, perhaps, by making a huge hole with one of your atomic bombs. You might consider that the explosion of Mt St Helen’s in 1980 was equivalent in power to more than twenty of your most powerful bombs. A thought you should find sobering’
