‘ITS NOT CHEESY BEING GREEN…’

The 46th Parliament of Australia was sworn in yesterday and the new Governor-General was inaugurated.

The anarchic Greens snubbed the new Governor General, David Hurley, by not attending his inauguration. I imagine that this was their childish way of expressing their disbelief in constitutional monarchy. This monkey is incredibly relieved that the Country has dodged a Labor/Green government. (They may have snubbed me and the zoo as not being “evolved” enough.)

It was a most auspicious day for Australia, celebrating over 200 years of civilised settlement, under Judaeo-Christian principles. It is heartening to observe Australians voting for the continuance of a stable society, under the rule of the British Monarchy.

The present British Monarchy dates back to 1066 – not a “fly by night” institution! Chimpanzees and apes enjoy monarchies. The great King Solomon imported apes (1 Kings 10:22b).

May God richly bless Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth The Second, Her representative in The Commonwealth of Australia, David Hurley, and its 30th Prime Minister, Scott Morrison.

  1. It was enlightening to hear from the indigenous speaker this morning in Canberra that this country has been inhabited by humans for at least 10 thousand years? That a ‘smoking ceremony’ was necessary to rid the parliament of ‘evil spirits’ and each individual Aboriginal parliamentarian named personally. The earth is demonstrably NOT 10.000 years old, and no amount of smoke is going to rid the Australian parliament of the demons inhabiting it. I naively assumed we Australians were “ONE”…but apparently not.

  2. Well, if the Greens were still there at the end of the smoking ceremony, it quite obviously does not work.
