It was good to see Craig Kelly bringing some sense into the great climate hysteria on Outsiders yesterday. It seems that what we have been learning on Thursdays in the zoo is correct, particularly when applied to children. “People prefer to believe what they prefer to be true”. There is nothing like a good crisis to wag a few days off school.

Greta Thunberg’s preaching seems to be accepted without question. Your children are wailing that Polar Bears are dying in the Antarctic, when there have never been Polar Bears there. The bears have increased in number over the last ten years where they have always lived – in the Arctic. The Antarctic Sea Ice has actually increased over this same period.

Last year recorded the lowest death rate ever from extreme weather. You all have cause for optimism.
