‘IN THE BEGINNING’: APOLLO 8
I want to wish all my readers a very Happy Christmas and a fulfilling New Year.
I thought that the words from the Apollo 8 moon shot crew are most appropriate for us all to ponder. By clicking on the link below you can take a trip back to 1968 and wonder at God’s Creation and contemplate the inventiveness of mankind, made in His image.
Gibber! Gibber! and ring those bells,
Chugley

It must have been an awe-inspiring, yet fearful sight, to see mother earth like that. And to think it is inhabited by all these people and all these Chimps, and that God loves us all so much. In fact, as it is Christmas eve, I am. and I am sure you are, amazed that God could send His Son, the way he did, as a baby, so that He would experience all that we humans experience, and then be prepared to die the way He did, so that we can have the opportunity, by accepting this great gift of love and salvation, to know Him as a brother. Thank you God, and a Happy and blessed Christmas to any who read this. And to any who may believe the whole story of Jesus is a myth, you do so at your peril. And Happy Christmas at the zoo !
Wonderfully expressed Milton. Many thanks for your input towards my education this year! Merry Christmas and a fruitful 2019 – Gibber! Gibber! Chugley and from all the zoo as well!
What a beautiful image is our Earth as seen from space…its mostly blue and white colours against the black backdrop and spot-lighted by the Sun is most attractive. And yet that distant beauty masks the massive battle being played out for the hearts and souls of humanity. How good that Creator God “so loved this world that He gave His only Son…” to provide the bridge of restoration for this (and His) beloved planet!
What a great reflection Paul! Many thanks for your input into my education this year, Happy Christmas and a fruitful 2019, from the zoo, Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
