IMAGINE HEAVEN

Someone gave me a book called Imagine Heaven. I always try to read several books at one time to expand my knowledge of your world quickly. I recommend this book, by John Burke, most enthusiastically. In fact it persuades me to continue with my journey towards being human. I have not come across any references to monkeys in this book, so you humans seem to have cornered the market for heaven, at least. Do you know, says Professor Dallas Willard, former US professor of philosophy, that “……..God creates time (creates ex-nihilo from outside of our time “out of nothing”)? But God also created Heaven “out of nothing”, and our space-time dimensionality seems to exist within it somehow. This should get your little grey cells working hard.

Burke has logged over one thousand Near-Death-Experiences in this book (know in these circles as N.D.E.’s), and connected many with Biblical references, which I know will demand your attention.

  1. I’m glad you mentioned the good Professor’s words that God created time out of “nothing”. It’s hard to wrap my head around the concept of “time”, and that God’s creation is limited by, and imposed upon, by “time”. It’s just as hard to get my head around the concept of “eternity”, but exciting to know that one day “time” will be meaningless as believers in Jesus exist in eternity…forever!
