HOW HIGH’S THE WATER MOMMA?
My correspondent Greg requested this song by Johnny Cash for today’s featured song. Johnny Cash’s Boyhood Home was prone to flooding from The Mississippi river. In March 1935, when he was three years old, the family settled in Dyess, Arkansas, a New Deal colony established to give poor families a chance to work land that they had a chance to own as a result. The clip above gives the background story to this song.
This song got me to thinking whether the “rising ocean” hysteria is based on fact, or has some hidden agenda behind it. After all, didn’t God send us a rainbow after the flood as a sign that He promised to flood the world no more? The most rational information I could find is at:

Hope this is helpful, I must be off to my keeper’s lecture now.
