HONKERS NOT QUITE SO BONKERS?

Did China hear the sound of the people of Hong Kong singing this song?

I was heartened to see an example of you humans being more sensible than usual. (See my post August 19th about the Hong Kong citizens’ revolt).

The citizens are demanding more concessions, such as having the right to vote for their leader, which may, or may not be accepted.

It is encouraging to witness the voice of the people having a positive effect!

    How true a statement. Maybe it’s time the people of our state seat in Port Macquarie and those in NSW peacefully yet boisterously call for a true democratic right to vote on the Reproductive Rights Bill before our State Government. They seem to have ignored the outcry so far. Maybe we have a lot in common with the residents of Hong Kong as our elected leaders are doing there own thing. One could say that our state leaders are more like a dictatorship based on marxism.
    As Barnaby Joyce MP, National Party of Australia, Tamworth, recently echoed, our voice will be heard at the next election when a number of elected reps find themselves on the unemployed line.
