Regular readers of my Blog will remember Elon Musk as the man who founded the car company Tesla, making an electric car of dubious worth and performance. Perhaps the best thing he did was to send one off the planet in a rocket made by his Space X operation.

A quick over view of where Starman currently is:

Starman is currently roughly about 145,085,806 km (90,678,628 miles) from the Red Planet. His time of arrival at his planned destination Mars was Oct 7, 2019. He missed it by a distance of about 4,600,000 miles, (not a very encouraging result?) The whole contraption will, they say, arrive back in Earth’s path by about December 2020. Presumably he is out of control and heading for a stellar collision? Also not very encouraging.

It makes this monkey wonder what “on space” Mr Musk is doing. Is it doing much for us on earth, one must wonder? The World can “look forward” to further spacial interference from this same person who is engaged in launching hundreds of satellites “to enhance our telecommunications ability”. (Do you really need any more “enhancement” in this area? Could always try talking more face to face with one another, as you were designed to do?).

This monkey thinks it might be better to leave Space pretty much to the one who created it, God Almighty. I suggest that you resist the temptation to look up to Elon Musk and his works, rather look up to the One who made you humans, and the entire Universe, in just 6 days. Remember, “Your Redemption draweth nigh!” Luke 21:28.
