‘GERMINANT ACCOMPLISHMENT?’
“Divine Prophecies have springing and germinant* accomplishment throughout many ages, though the height or fullness of them may belong to some one age.” (Francis Bacon)
*[Definition of germinant. : germinating or having the capacity to grow or develop]
Isaiah 17:1 states that ‘Damascus will be left a ruinous heap”.
- Is this the ‘Age’ for Damascus?
- Is Isaiah more contemporary than CNN
- Can Damascus survive these times?

The gradual laying waste of Damascus by sectarian violence appears to be fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy…but my interest is equally drawn to recent aggressive tirades by Iran’s Islamic clerics who continue to declare their hatred for Israel, especially now that Trump has pulled the US out of the Iran nuclear deal. The clerics say they won’t be stopped in their quest to become nuclear-armed. These are ominous and fascinating times for those “watching and waiting” for the Lord’s Return!
We missed you insightful comments for a while Paul, exciting times indeed! What do the Mexicans make of it? Just down another Tequila I guess.. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
