GEORGE ORWELL – A 20th Century Human Prophet for A Thinking Chimpanzee.

September 2, 2017

One of my astute readers has referred me to another quote from George Orwell’s 1984:

‘Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been re-written, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been re-named, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.’ (Book 2, Chapter V)

Just like the ancient prophets, George Orwell proclaims the truth to an indifferent, apathetic race!

1984  is not a book for cowards but as a chimpanzee, I find it illuminating and terrifying.

Gibber! Gibber!

    Other prophetic novels are ;
    The Camp of the Saints (Le Camp des Saints) is a 1973 French novel by Jean Raspail. The novel depicts a setting wherein Third World mass immigration to France and the West leads to the destruction of Western civilization.
    Also Brave New World, a novel written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley. the novel anticipates developments in reproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation, and classical conditioning that are combined to profoundly change society. No Marriage, no parents, no sexual taboos and the rampant use of drugs to sooth the gaping chasm in their hearts.
