FOSSILS AT PENNANT HILLS?
My reader. Paul, posted a comment about the lack of dinosaur bones being found in the tunnel dig going on at Pennant Hills in Sydney’s North. I must thank him, for his comment, which sent me scurrying to research the subject on the excellent Creation.com website, and also in Bill Cooper’s incredible book, After the Flood (available from www.creation.com).
It is commonly believed that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago before humans.
My Biblically based studies, during the last few years, lead me to believe that the whole universe was created about 6,000 years ago, with all creatures, including humans, plants trees and so on, fully operational.
Remember God, the Almighty Creator, is outside of time, He created that as well. Time runs at different speeds, dependent on gravity, at different parts of the Universe. Einstein worked this much out.
After less than 2,000 years God caused a great flood (known as Noah’s flood) to destroy all life on earth. Thus there are very few fossils or remnants of anything before the flood, which would have ground almost everything virtually to powder, fulfilling God’s promise to “destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast…” (Genesis 6:7).
God saved Noah and his family by commanding Noah to build an Ark, which rode out the violent upheaval. He also preserved many animals, including dinosaurs and, I’m glad to say, chimpanzees. Dinosaurs did survive for a while in the harsher post-flood climate, but were hunted for food, and eventually died out. Hence the many accounts of Dragons in literature up to recent times. Even our favourite “Nessie” of Loch Ness fame may be a dinosaur! (The name Dinosaur was not used until the mid-19th Century). Many theories abound as to why they eventually went extinct. These are well covered at Creation.com.
It is therefore not surprising to me that there are no fossils to be found at Pennant Hills in the excavated sandstone. There have, however, been dinosaur bones found elsewhere in Australia and I have included a photograph of some for you.

Good point Skipper! Thanks, Chugley
I watched a video recently that showed the distinct pattern of locations where dinosaur fossils have been found around the world. From this pattern, one can infer thousands of dinosaurs gathered in places they thought were safe from the advancing floodwaters. When the flood eventually overtook them, their remains were covered in sediment to subsequently fossilize them in huge numbers. It’s amazing that recent medical technologies have scanned some dinosaur remains and found blood vessels still intact! What fascinating creatures!
A wonderful comment Paul, thanks! It is so hard for an evolving Chimpanzee to work out what is TRUTH and what is fiction, it helps when someone like you points out observable facts…Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
