EXEMPLARY AMBASSADOR
It was interesting to see Mark Sofer (pictured above left) the recently appointed, English-born, suave and well -educated, Israeli Ambassador to Australia, spearing David Speers (above right) on Sky News last evening. I think this monkey could have addressed more intelligent questions than Speers’ barrage of biased accusations, complaining that Israel is using “excessive force” against a hoard of some 30,000 murderous Palestinians. These Palestinians, whose Mantra is “Death to Israel”, are trying to storm the Gaza border fence (keeping them safely in Gaza and out of Israel), with Molotov Cocktails, slings, stones, flaming kites, knives, burning tyres and obviously warlike weapons. Speers seems to think the Israelis should embrace these “peace loving” people, and maybe give them a slap on the wrist. Mark Sofer gave him a well-aimed verbal Israeli slingshot or two.to which I cheerfully refer my loyal readers back to my Bible.
You don’t need to have the intellect of an Einstein to grasp this problem. Israel gave Gaza to these people, who use it as a launching pad for annihilating their Jewish State, instead of growing tomatoes and other vegetables which it was formerly happily doing. Then the world cries “Foul” when Israel defends itself.
This is not what this monkey calls “Cricket”, more like “Provocation”.

I’m fascinated by the story of the re-birth of the modern State of Israel, as I firmly believe Israel will be the focal point of God’s purposes for the culmination of human history. It is exciting that Israel was reborn in 1948, and and that she took complete possession of Jerusalem in 1967. The “world” (United Nations and left-wing media + hostile nations) is always lambasting Israel unfairly. I see the attitude of the “world” towards Israel as synonymous with the natural hatred the world has for God. Let believers’ hearts be gladdened, for “these things must happen” before the End! Not too long methinks!
My studies lead me to agree with you Paul, maybe not much evolving time left for me! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
