A good example of what evolutionists and materialists argue over is cited by Warren Nunn who quotes Thomas Nagel, who dared to question Materialism, at a meeting which included atheist Richard Dawkins. Nagel was born in 1937. He , and was roundly criticised by the senior editor  of The Weekly Standard as being “….of absolutely no importance on this subject,” …and by another “He’s a self-contradictory idiot.” These comments about Nagel followed what they perceived as “shoddy reasoning”. I enjoy such robust comment, and am sure you will as well. Certainly it highlights why evolution remains a theory, argued about by its most enthusiastic devotees, causing me no little fur loss and extra lines on my visage.
