ELECTRIC MIRAGE
I wish I could fathom your deviant human minds, I really prefer being a simple Chimp, at least on many days. Take yesterday, I was munching a banana up my tree, (there was a power cut at the zoo, we’d better get used to it, the way your Government is going). I spotted what I thought was a runaway car rolling down the local road. This was a white car, with darkened windows, (similar to the above picture, without darkened glass), so I could not see a driver. I thought it was rolling away down our zoo’s sloping road because there was no engine noise. To my surprise there was no sound of a crash, so I thought I would Google “noiseless cars”. I found the culprit, a “hybrid” Toyota Camry. This machine runs on batteries as well as petrol. Your Government thinks it is “climate wise” to dig up coal, sell it to overseas countries, who use it to generate cheap electricity, to make incredibly complicated and expensive cars, full of rare and exotic metals, which these foreigners sell to you at vast profit. Why not use the coal yourselves to generate your own inexpenseve electricity, and build the perfectly efficient petrol engine which happily emits plant enriching gases which it has has done for over a hundred years? It would probably conserve more energy to bring back the Austin 7, introduced in 1922, and update some of the features to suit the current age. But then I’m no Elon Musk.
Gibber! Gibber!

I’ve heard that some new technologies for powering vehicles are suppressed or maybe bought-out by oil companies to protect their interests. I think of the hydrogen cell, which uses water as the fuel to generate the power to drive vehicles. That technology was around at least a decade ago, but it hasn’t surfaced as a viable option for a long time. Oil company money certainly talks…regardless of how good a new fuel might be for the environment, it must be suppressed!
I think I heard some have involved murder to protect vested interests, certainly you humans have no compunction in exterminating each other for filthy lucre. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
