DEOXYRIBONUCLEICACID – DNA
I am enjoying reading Jonathan D. Sarfati PH.D., F.M.’s remarkable book, The Genesis Account. Perhaps to confound evolutionists, who often say that Creationists are “anti science”, he describes his book as “a theological, and scientific commentary on Genesis 1-11”. I have reached page 227, and am struck by what can only be described as “the miracle of DNA” the message molecule. (The book is available from the link above.)
DNA is the most efficient information storage system known. It is very unstable. (Researchers need to store it at – 200 C. Even that does not stop breakdown.) It is a sort of “recipe book” passed down from one generation to another. It has the capacity to self-repair, and to reproduce itself. One human cell has enough information capacity to store the Encyclopedia Britannica, all 30 volumes of it, 3 times over. You humans have 100 trillion of them, we Chimps a few less. The whole construction is powered by another amazing energy producing molecule, known as A.T.P. This is all explained in Chapter 5 at great length. It is explained with such clarity that even a monkey can grasp it.
This monkey also appreciates that you humans are truly “without excuse” (on the basis of how did DNA occur) for not believing that there is an All-Powerful, Omniscient Being behind this incredible electro-mechanical structure:
“For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20)

DNA is such a powerful witness to God’s existence and power, that to deny it is willful rejection of God, I believe.
I’m reminded of Romans 1:28, in which God Himself “denies” those who willfully reject Him. The moral consequences for them are dire, as this verse describes.
” And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.”
Yes Paul we are again in agreement! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
